About Me
Hi, my name is Jess. I decided to become a midwife as my second career after birthing my two boys. I worked in a low risk hospital as a midwife for 8 years before becoming an Endorsed Midwife.
I am passionate about the benefits of continuity of care and this was the driving force behind my decision to transition to Private Midwifery. I live in Wembley Downs with my husband, two teenage sons and two dogs. As a family we love camping, travelling, going to the beach and having lazy days at home.
I offer my services in the Perth metro area north of the river. I would love to chat to you and answer any questions you may have to see if I am the right fit for you.
I believe that pregnancy and birth are normal physiological processes, and my role as a midwife is to support this. I want to provide the evidence that support’s women to make decisions that are right for them. Continuity of care from me means that we develop a strong, trusting relationship that aims to provide you with a safe space throughout your pregnancy, birth and postpartum.

Maternity Care Package
ANTENATAL
Care can start as early as the first trimester. I will visit you at your home at times to suit you and your family. Visits can be as per the antenatal schedule or tailored to your needs. I can prescribe medication and order any tests or ultrasounds that you may need. If required I will also refer you to other health professionals.
LABOUR & BIRTH
I will be on-call 24/7 for your labour & birth. I will provide support in the setting of your choice, This may be at home, in a hospital or a combination of both. If transferring to a hospital, depending on the hospital I will either continue to provide midwifery care or I will be a support person.
POSTNATAL
I will visit you every day for the first 5 days then every 2-4 days until 2 weeks and then weekly until 6 weeks postpartum, unless your needs are more. I will provide support for post birth transition, navigating the fourth trimester and breastfeeding education. I can make any referrals you or your baby may need and organise any investigations.
Costs
My midwifery care package costs $7000 with payment plans available, but must be paid in full by 36 weeks.
A deposit of $1000 is required to secure my services before the first appointment.
All antenatal and postnatal appointments are eligible for medicare rebates.
If you birth in a hospital where I have admitting rights, there is an additional rebate.
At the end of your care with me, you lodge my receipt to medicare for your rebate. Please contact me to discuss these rebates.
